Soy Glazed Salmon Fillets

Comment: A good source of Omega 3, we are sure this salmon dish infused with naturally brewed soy sauce and fresh ginger will become a regular in your home.

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 fresh salmon fillets – about 150g per fillet
  • 4 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Double Deluxe Soy Sauce
  • Small piece of fresh root ginger (about 2cm piece) – peeled and finely chopped
  • Tin foil – enough to loosely parcel each fillet separately
  • Method:

    Step 1: Pre-heat an oven to 200c,

    or gas mark 6.

Step 2: Lightly score each fillet diagonally across the meat side of the fish and place them centrally, skin side down, on separate pieces of foil.

Step 3: Fold up the sides of each foil square and spoon all of the soy sauce and ginger evenly onto each fillet, ensuring the mixture fills the cuts you made on the fish.

Step 4: Fold in the sides of each foil and pinch together to seal and form two loosely wrapped parcels. Place on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 15 minutes or until the fish has cooked.

Serve immediately with noodles or even baked or mashed potato and green beans.
